Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Text entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its own results. Chilton County Warrant Records does not keep a local log of names or birth dates submitted through those partner boxes.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor emails us, the message and reply address may be retained long enough to answer and maintain business records. We do not disclose that message outside the organization unless the sender asks us to do so or the law requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Site systems and service providers may receive technical and activity data when a page loads. That data helps deliver the site and measure its performance.
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser type and version
- Device and operating-system details
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring page, when available
- Date and time of the request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files that can remember settings or help measure aggregate use. Analytics services may show which pages receive visits and where technical issues occur. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, though a feature may then behave differently.
What We Do With This Data
Information is used for a limited set of operating purposes.
- Deliver, maintain, and secure the website
- Send a requested query to the selected search provider
- Measure page use and improve useful content
- Find errors, abuse, and performance problems
- Support advertising and referral operations
No Warrant Data on File
Chilton County Warrant Records does not host, maintain, sell, or compile a database of warrants or person-level warrant records. It publishes directions to the Chilton County Circuit Clerk, Sheriff's Office, municipal courts, and other official sources. It is not a consumer reporting agency, and visitor data is not assembled into a report about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search tools that appear on content pages. Their privacy policies, not this policy, control the information submitted to them. A partner may have different retention, sharing, price, and account rules. Review those terms before entering a query or buying any service.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Alabama courts, the Chilton County Sheriff's Office, municipal portals, statutes, or other outside services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's own privacy terms govern. Read them before sending personal facts. Advertising services may also use their systems to measure activity across sites; those systems are not controlled here.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Limited information may be handled by the services needed to operate the site or comply with law.
- Search providers receiving a query the visitor chooses to submit
- Hosting, security, and analytics vendors
- Advertising networks serving or measuring ads
- Government or law-enforcement authorities responding to valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for information under our control. No website, network, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure. We therefore cannot promise that loss, misuse, or unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If information from a person under 18 is identified, a parent or guardian may request its review and deletion through the available site contact route.
Your Data Rights
Applicable law may allow a visitor to ask what personal data is held, request correction or deletion, or object to certain processing. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed. The Alabama Open Records Law, Alabama Code ยง36-12-40, governs qualifying requests to public custodians; it does not convert this private website into a government record office.
- Request access to personal data held by this site
- Ask that inaccurate data be corrected
- Request deletion when the law permits it
- Opt out of processing where an applicable law provides that choice
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as services, legal duties, or data practices change. The updated text and effective date will appear here. Continued use after a revision means the visitor accepts the revised policy.
